What’s the Difference in Medicare Services?

- Medicare A covers hospital and skilled nursing facility (following a 3 day admitted hospital stay) visits as well as some home health care and hospice services.
- Medicare B helps pay for medical services such as doctor visits, lab, X-ray, pathology and more services that are not covered by hospital insurance.
- Medicare Advantage or C is a medicare (program) that is provided by private insurance companies for hospital and medical services as a replacement for original medicare Part A and Part B.
- Medicare D is the medicare prescription program provided by private companies to help pay for medications, which are not covered by original Medicare.
